ABOUT
Why did we make this podcast?
Navigating aged care can be overwhelming with so many choices and decisions. How do you know you’re making the right one?
This podcast was created after 13 years of working in the aged care sector to share key insights and information for families and their loved ones in one accessible platform.
Through expert interviews, caregiver stories, and resident experiences, we provide advice and guidance to help families approach aged care with clarity and confidence. Our goal is to offer valuable resources and personal stories to simplify the process.

Meet our host: Edward freeman
Meet Edward Freeman, host of Back In My Day podcast, and Co-Founder & CCO of E4 Recruitment.
For over 13 years, Edward has worked with aged care facilities on staffing and, through his own experience supporting his grandmother, realised how overwhelming aged care can be for families.
After countless conversations with aged care leaders, staff, and residents, he saw just how confusing the process is—with so many decisions to make. That’s why he started Back In My Day.
