NEWS & STORIES

Welcome to Back in my day podcast!

Welcome to the Back in My Day podcast, a heartfelt journey celebrating the life stories shared by residents in aged care. Brought to you by E4 Recruitment, with over 12 years of experience placing aged care workers in facilities across Australia, our mission is to make a positive impact by providing educational insights into the world of aged care.

We take immense joy in listening to the heartwarming anecdotes from the residents our nurses support, shedding light on the extraordinary lives they have led. These inspiring narratives have encouraged us to capture and share the wisdom and experiences of these individuals, offering valuable insights for families navigating the path to aged care.

Hosted by Edward Freeman, Co-Founder & Director of E4 Recruitment, our podcast is thoughtfully recorded in the familiar environment of the residents. Join us as we delve into their life stories, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of the aged care experience.

Purpose of the Podcast:

Through our podcast interviews, we have gained invaluable insights into the aged care journey. These insights aim to support families caring for their loved ones and individuals considering aged care for themselves. Our goal is to provide resources and personal experiences that bring clarity to the process.

We aim to create a platform for residents to preserve their life memories, ensuring they are cherished by future generations. Each resident we interview receives a video recording of their memories, a keepsake for their families to treasure always.

Podcast Interview Process:

Podcast host Edward Freeman engages in friendly and light-hearted conversations with residents at aged care facilities, exploring the significant and everyday moments of their lives. The podcast is video recorded in a comfortable setting at the residents’ facility, with each episode typically lasting between 30 minutes to 1 hour.
